About the event
Join us for a guided plant walk led by Sarah Olson and Leah Marsan, herbalists at The Peoples Apothecary. We'll explore a local riverside park in Bend, Oregon, identifying medicinal and edible plants native to Central Oregon.
The walk will last approximately one hour, followed by an optional half-hour to share a cup of tea made from a plant found during our walk.
What to Bring:
Dress appropriately for Bend's variable May weather between 4–6 PM. Conditions may include rain, mud, or warm sun. Bring layers, a rain jacket, and comfortable walking shoes.
Your herbal journal for notes or sketches.
A mug if you'd like to enjoy the tea.
